Subjects Taught
4th Grade Math, 4th Grade Science

I received an Associate of Arts degree in Office Administration through Northwest Community College.

After careful consideration and working as an Assistant, I returned to school and received a B.A. in Social Sciences with a Concentration in Education through Ashford University studying online.

To become a certified teacher, I attended Belhaven University, both online and campus, and earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

I am now certified to teach 4-6 grades Elementary Education and 7-12 grades Social Studies and Business Education. I am also certified in K-12 Special Education--Mild/Moderate Disability.

I have worked with the students in Desoto County Schools since 2007. I began as a teacher assistant for first & second grades at OES. I was invited to assist in third grade here at DCES in 2011.  In 2012, I was very excited to become a member of the DCES family. This experience has been like no other, and I look forward to being an key role in your child's educational journey!

I love my job and am extremely dedicated to these babies. I look forward to working with new students and parents each year.

I have been married to Michael for 20 years. I have three beautiful daughters: Shae, Talya, and Teah as well as a very handsome grandson, Ashton. I love spending time with my family. They are my life.

In my spare time (ha ha) I like to watch mystery and medical shows. I also like to read, as well as work crossword puzzles.
