Weekly Objectives and Tests

March 26-30

Math:

*Chapter 14: Geometry

*4.G.1: I can draw points, lines, line segments, rays, angles, and perpendicular and parallel lines. I can identify these in two-dimensional figures.

*4.G.2: I can classify two-dimensional figures based on types of lines and angles. I can identify right angles.

*4.G.3: I can recognize a line of symmetry for a 2-dimensional figure as the line across the figure along which it can be folded into matching parts. I can identify line-symmetric figures and draw lines of symmetry.

*4.MD.5: I can recognize angles as a shape that is formed where 2 rays share an endpoint. I understand that a one-degree angle is an angle that turns through 1/360 of a circle.

*4.MD.6: I can measure angles using a protractor. I can sketch angles of specified measure.

4.MD.7: I can recognize angle measure as additive. I can solve addition and subtraction problems to find unknown angles on a diagram by using an equation with a symbol for the unknown angle measure.
