About the Teacher/Welcome Msg

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Mississippi State in 2003 and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ole Miss in 2009.

This will be my 9th year teaching in Mississippi.  Previously, I taught 7 years in Mississippi before moving to Charlotte, NC.  I taught one year there before moving to Albany, GA, where I taught for 5 years.

I am originally from Kosciusko, MS.  I have a seven year old daughter that is starting second grade this year.  I have also been a part-time personal trainer for the last five years.  Aside from spending time with my daughter, I love going to the gym and participating in obstacle course races!
