About the Teacher

My husband and I have been married for 27 years. We have two sons. The oldest is attending Northwest MS Community College and the other is in 11th grade.

I grew up in Tupelo and graduated from Tupelo High School. I attended Mississippi State University for 2 years. I switched my major and graduated from Ole Miss. When we moved to DeSoto County, I began to volunteer in my sons' schools to have a more active role in their education. This led to a position as an assistant. As someone who has always enjoyed learning, I decided to obtain my teaching license. I hope to share my love of learning with your student this year.
