Education

I attended the University of Memphis when it was still Memphis State. I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education.

Experience

This is my 23rd year of teaching. I taught 3rd grade for most of a year and 8th grade science for two years before my daughter was born. I returned to teaching when my son started kindergarten. This is my 21st year to teach 3rd grade at Desoto Central Elementary School.

Communication

The main way I communicate with you as a parent is the weekly newsletter that is in your child's gray take home folder. Every Friday afternoon, we replace it and also add new spelling words and weekly reading homework. I also send text broadcasts for important information.
