About the Teacher/Welcome Msg
I am a graduate of the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy!). I received a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education with concentrations in English, Social Studies and Special Education. I also have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from here as well.
Hello my name is Miranda Williams, and I will be your child's 5th grade Science/Social Studies teacher this year.
I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with concentrations in English, Social Studies and Special Education. I recently completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from here as well. This will be my 5th year teaching at DCES.
My motto is: If you BELIEVE it, you can ACHIEVE it!
I have been marrried to my high school sweetheart, Kerry for 14 years. We have two beautiful children Mackenzi (11) and Micah (1). We also have three fur babies Bella, Chelsea and Lucky. Although I am a native Memphian I've called Desoto County home for the past 13 years.
In my spare time I enjoy all things Netflix, traveling, music concerts, crafts, spending time with family & football.
Go Titans! Go Rebels!
I look forward to an AMAZING year with your student!
